holds a Defensive Shooting Match on the 4th Saturday of each month at 10am.
(Summer hours July - October 9am.) The Defensive Shooting match is like the IDPA format and rules but may include some shotgun and rifle as well. Centerfire pistols only. No magnum rounds. We set up four scenarios with a round count varying from 15 to 20 rounds each. To participate you will need your pistol, a hard holster that stays open to allow for safe one-handed reholstering, a strong belt and 3 magazines for doublestack and 5 for singlestack. It is recommended that you arrive one half early to allow for gearing up and signing in. Cost of this match is currently $10.00. Match scores are emailed to the participants and other interested members. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact the pistol chairman. |
